Earth's oxygen is produced by ocean

Have you ever wondered where oxygen we breathe comes from? Rainforests are probably first thing most people think of, but here's a startling fact for you: According to US National Oceanic Service, we should be grateful for all fresh air that plant-based marine life provides. There are more trees on Earth than there are stars in Milky Way

Here's another amazing scientific fact that I bet you didn't know about: NASA experts believe there could be between 100 and 400 billion stars in Milky Way galaxy. However, a 2015 article in journal Nature estimated number of trees in world to be much higher: 3.04 trillion.

Water can be in three states at same time

This is called a triple boil or triple point. This is a certain temperature and pressure at which material exists simultaneously in gaseous, liquid and solid states. According to UC Santa Cruz, triple point is also the only situation where all three states of matter can coexist, and they are different for every material. Water reaches its triple point at a temperature just above freezing (0.1 degrees Celsius) and a pressure of 0.006 atmospheres.

The solar flare is very powerful

According to NASA, energy released by a solar flare is equivalent to simultaneous detonation of millions of 100-megaton atomic bombs. It is good that Earth's atmosphere protects us from their radiation.

It's impossible to hiccup in space

When you burp on Earth, gravity holds both solid and liquid foods you just ate so only gas comes out of your mouth. In absence of gravity, gases cannot separate from liquids and solids, so belching essentially turns into vomiting.
